General upper secondary school studies (16-19-year-olds)

• Seinäjoen lukio holds permission granted by the Ministry of Education and Culture to provide instruction in English and arrange the matriculation exams in English.
• During general upper secondary students complete 150 credits in total in several subjects. Students complete the national matriculation exam at the end of their studies.
• General upper secondary education prepares students for academic studies.
• The Finnish matriculation examination is widely recognised by universities and colleges all over the world.
• Seinäjoen lukio is also a Cambridge school that has been authorised to arrange exams such as IGCSE, AS and A levels, AICE diploma.
